Transport Volunteers: Help Us Get Pets to Safety

Our Transport Volunteers are a vital part of the rescue process, helping move dogs and cats from shelters to fosters, adoption events, and medical appointments. By volunteering for transport, you’re providing these pets with the crucial link to the care, safety, and love they need to start a new chapter.

Here’s How You Can Help:

1. Sign Up & Volunteer Agreement – Complete our volunteer interest form and sign the Volunteer Agreement to get started. You’ll also be added to our volunteer list for future transport requests, based on your availability and location.

2. Get Matched with a Transport Request – We’ll contact you whenever a transport is needed that fits your schedule and preferences.

3. Prepare for Pick-Up – Receive details on the pet(s), pick-up location, and destination. We’ll provide any necessary supplies to keep the journey safe and comfortable.

4. Transport the Pet(s) – Head out to pick up the pet(s), drive them to the specified location, and ensure they’re safely secured throughout the journey.

5. Safely Capture Photos & Videos – If possible, snap some quick photos or short videos of the pet to help with their profile. Always prioritize safety and comfort for both you and the animal when capturing these moments.

6. Drop Off and Check-In – Once you’ve arrived, check in with the contact person at the drop-off site to confirm the pet’s safe hand-off.

7. Share Your Experience – Update us on how the transport went and any observations on the pet’s behavior or health.
