**Help Us Keep Our Rescues Clean and Happy!**

Volunteering to clean litter boxes may not sound glamorous, but it’s one of the most crucial tasks for our rescue. Since we don’t yet have a brick-and-mortar facility, our dedicated foster homes are where our cats and kittens find shelter, love, and care.

Keeping their litter boxes clean ensures they remain healthy and comfortable, making their stay with us as stress-free as possible. Your help with this simple task can make a world of difference for our furry friends.

Cleaning days are every Wednesday at 4:30 PM, rain or shine.

Set up is in the backyard, and these are the supplies for cleaning that we provide: water source, soap, scrub daddy, sanitizing spray.

The process is simple:

  1. rinse

  2. wash/scrub

  3. rinse again

  4. lay to dry

  5. finish with a spray of sanitizing solution.

Join us in providing a clean, happy environment for these precious animals!

Photographer

Photos and Video are one of the most important factors in adoption. We need volunteers to travel and photograph our adoptables either in the foster home or at adoption events.

Transportation

Whether it be 5 miles to 100 miles we need transportation to save pets in need. Rural shelters in the outer skirts of CA are the most in need. Euthanasia rates are higher so we tend to pull pets from miles away. If you have the time to drop off and/or pick up a pet and/or supplies please apply.

Telecommunicator

Sometimes 20+ calls and texts a day asking about different pets. We need someone who is able to answer calls and direct them to the website to apply online, answer questions, and or respond to text messages.

Creative Writer

Biographies of the adoptable pets are what captures the hearts of adopters. We need help with obtaining info from foster families and turning that info into an awesome eye catching story.

Adoption Event Attendee

We need Volunteers to attend adoption events to watch the pets. They will only be there to answer basic questions on the process of adopting. Mostly direct people to the website for more info. Direct the public to look at the flyers or website to get more info on the pets. Keep the pets safe during the events.

Content Creator

We need help with social media. Posts, shorts, reels, etc. Use content from fosters to capture the personality of the adoptable pets. Social media is another huge way that people can see what type of pet they’re looking to adopt.

Website Manager

Adoption events are updated weekly to reflect the next adoption event. We need someone to input the correct info weekly so it is always current and up to date.

Fundraise

If you are crafty or have a particular skill you can fundraise for us. Can you draw? Sell pet portraits. We are always so appreciative when our community pulls together to help us fundraise and come up with awesome ideas.

Data Entry

When we intake pets they all need to be input into our system. Each pet and their bio needs input so they can be displayed for adoption. Treatments, surgeries, etc need to be put in the medical record so future adopters may access them when they adopt.

Help Us with things like:

  • Transportation: events, veterinary appointments, and shelters/owner surrenders

  • Social Media Manager: post multiple times a day to highlight our animals, our events, and the rescue

  • Promo Specialist: Showcase our pets on sites like Craigslist and Nextdoor to increase their chances at adoption

  • Rescue Research Coordinator: Search the Internet for pets in need of rescuing that we can help

  • Event Volunteer (set up, tear down, walking dogs, cleaning, talking to adopters)

  • Website building

  • Fundraising Coordinator: Assist in fundraising ideas and follow through

  • Event Manger: Plan and execute events
